Coalition Goals

Education and Advocacy for People Affected by Trauma

We’re working hard to collaborate with government agencies, professionals, care givers, and community members to move the needle on the way we communicate about and respond to those affected by trauma.

GOAL #1

Educate the community on trauma.

Provide robust training, resources, and information to inform professional service providers, government officials, and the community at large about the effects of trauma and the importance of identifying potential trauma that may impact a person.

GOAL #2

Identify gaps and barriers to trauma-informed and trauma-specific services.

Through strategic facilitation of conversation between independent groups of people throughout the community, we strive to ensure communication is open, filling in the gaps and breaking down barriers for those who need help.

GOAL #3

Increase collaboration among larger systems.

Bring together partner agencies, court officials, counselors, medical professionals, schools, law enforcement officials, first responders, social workers, and other service providers to foster and grow communication among those we serve.
