Looking to learn more about how you can help people affected by trauma? You’ve come to the right place!

Our coalition offers free live trainings to the community twice a year.  Watch the calendar for the next live training.  The first training is “Becoming Trauma Informed: Understanding Trauma” and lays a foundation for the audience to know what trauma is, its prevalence, and how it affects a person’s brain and body.  The second training is “Becoming Trauma Informed: Putting it into Practice” and shares practical ways to implement the trauma-informed lens into personal and agency culture.

For on-demand online training, we recommend using the following resources:

https://mha.ohio.gov/Health-Professionals/Training-and-Workforce-Development – Find ‘ebasedAcademy’. Click on it and you will have several different classes to choose from. Look for  “OOC:Trauma Informed Approaches.”

https://www.healthcaretoolbox.org/catalogue – This training is designed for pediatric healthcare providers.

If you have questions about training, please email us at lucascticc@gmail.com and a member of our advisory board will be in contact with you.  In the meantime, you can review our resources.
