Connection between Trauma and Problem Gambling

It’s March!  Do you feel lucky like a leprechaun?  Do you feel the madness of college basketball?  Everywhere you look it seems like people are caught up in games of chance and pools betting on sports.  For lots of us, it’s just a diversion and some fun with colleagues and friends.  For others, it can be a trigger from early trauma that sends a person to the internet or another place to gamble.  The following reports indicate a clear connection between trauma and problem gambling.  It is our hope that they bring some new information that helps increase sensitivity about this issue and support to those who struggle with problem gambling.
